About
My Story

Eloise Archer is an Australian based writer and poet. Archer's work focuses on the navigation of slowly sinking ships and the harbours we build to home them

They are the writer and creator of the podcast This Is Cheaper Than Therapy and the paperback How To Be An Adult.  Archer 's poetry has been published in the online literary magazine 'Oceans & Time.'

They have recently been published in the anthology More Time which is available in paperback and digital. The short fiction anthology focuses on the relationship between time and love and the actions which bind them through the lens of speculative fiction.

Themes of love, loss, adulthood, identity, and isolation are an undercurrent throughout both their poetry and traditional works of fiction. Archer's goal is to open the lines of communication within society so that as a whole we can start bringing light to the things hidden in corners and learn that we are not alone. They are a supporter of equal rights and warm coffee on cold nights.

IN THE PRESS

"This book really tickled me. A relatable rundown of things that can, and do, go wrong as you embark on your adult journey, approached with cynicism, speckled with light humour. You'll read this nodding, snorting to yourself and thinking of the people you know who'd appreciate the wry advice."

- AV McClane, author of  Neurophysiology and the Human Heart on How To Be An Adult
